Maryland lottery, casino revenue tops $1 billion

Maryland's revenue from lottery sales and casinos rose 19 .1 percent in the fiscal year ending June 30, topping $1 billion for the first time, the state said Monday. The state's new gaming chief predicted continued casino revenue growth into at least 2017.
